Steinberg Dorico for iPad: Performance and verdict While Dorico’s primary concern is music presentation, it’s far from lacking in the DAW department. After purchasing a subscription, you can activate additional features – such as 12 parts and extended notation – for EUR 3.99 per month or EUR 39 per year.
DORICO IPAD UPDATE
Before the most recent update I was able to import projects to and from Box onto my iPad, but now I’m unable to use the < button at the upper left to get back to the import file dialog, create a new project, open tutorials etc.

DORICO IPAD FOR FREE
Steinberg Dorico for iPadOS is available for free in the Apple App Store. I haven’t seen posts about Box, a cloud service similar to Dropbox which my institution (University of Illinois) uses. Dorico and Sibelius for Mobile – Price and availability They need an iPad running at least iPadOS 13.0 (Dorico) or 13.4 (Sibelius for Mobile), which is any iPad using the Apple A8 chip or later. The company has just released Dorico for iPad, a mobile version of the rapidly rising scoring app that was released for PC and Mac in 2016. Both apps are optimized for multi-touch interfaces, cloud sharing of scores in various formats (MusicXML, MIDI, PDF, etc.), and support up to four parts in their free versions. Tags: Dorico, iPad, mobile, notation, Software, Steinberg. I really do think it’ll change how we share music digitally with players. For example, Dorico can play scores using AUv3 plug-ins and Sibelius for Mobile supports note input with the Apple Pencil. Dorico for iPad 1.1 is available now, and it’s free to start using (with a fair amount of functionality even in that free version). While both apps look like what you’d expect from using them on desktop machines, each offers something unique to the iPad.
